Actress Lee Yoo-young gave birth to her second daughter in September 2026. According to her agency's statement, confirmed as of September 12 at 13 Korean time, both mother and baby are healthy, and Lee Yoo-young is resting under the care of her family. However, details such as the exact date of birth, the baby's name, and birth weight were not included in the publicly released statement.
What Has Been Confirmed About Lee Yoo-young's Second Child?
Lee Yoo-young's agency, Ace Factory, announced on September 11 that the actress had given birth to her second daughter this month. Her second child is a girl, making Lee Yoo-young the mother of two daughters.
The agency also confirmed the health of the mother and baby. Both are currently healthy, and Lee Yoo-young is reportedly resting while receiving care and support from her family.
An important distinction must be made regarding the dates. September 11 is the date on which the agency confirmed the birth, not a date officially announced as her second daughter's exact birthday. The publicly released statement only specifies that she gave birth 'this month.'
As related reports continued to appear on September 12, search results may show both 11 and 12. However, this reflects differences in article publication times. Based on the information currently available, it is not possible to determine the exact day on which her second daughter was born.
The Birth Also Matches the September Due Date Announced in April
News of Lee Yoo-young's second pregnancy was first made public in 2026-04-05. At the time, Ace Factory announced that she was expecting her second child and was due to give birth in September 2026.
Approximately 5 months later, news emerged that she had indeed given birth in September. The earlier announcement disclosed only her second pregnancy and the expected month of delivery. The latest announcement additionally confirmed that her second child is a girl and provided an update on the health of both mother and baby following the birth.
In late August, Lee Yoo-young also shared photos on her personal social media account showing her in the final stages of pregnancy alongside her first daughter. News of the birth subsequently followed in September.
However, the fact that the earlier announcement of an 'September due date' matches the latest confirmation that she 'gave birth in September' does not justify calculating or assuming an exact due date or delivery date. Specific calendar dates have not been publicly disclosed.
How Did Lee Yoo-young's Family Timeline Unfold From Her First Daughter to Her Second Child?
The publicly known milestones in Lee Yoo-young's family life are easier to understand when arranged chronologically.
Lee Yoo-young registered her marriage to her husband, who is not a public figure, in May 2024. Later that same year, she gave birth to her first daughter in August 2024.
Following the marriage registration and the birth of their first child, the couple held their wedding ceremony in September 2025. In other words, they became legally married first, welcomed their child, and then held their wedding ceremony.
News of her second pregnancy and expected September delivery was announced in April 2026, and the birth of her second daughter was subsequently confirmed in September of the same year.
The timeline is as follows:
May 2024: Registered her marriage to her husband, who is not a public figure
August 2024: Gave birth to her first daughter
September 2025: Held her wedding ceremony
April 2026: Announced her second pregnancy and expected delivery in September
September 2026: Birth of her second daughter confirmed
The latest birth announcement also establishes that both her first and second children are daughters.
Have the Exact Birth Date and Name of Her Second Child Been Revealed?
The most specific information about the timing of the birth in the agency's publicly released statement is 'September 2026'. No exact date was provided.
The statement also did not disclose the second child's name or details such as her birth weight. Therefore, even if specific dates or newborn measurements circulate online, they cannot be treated as verified information without an additional announcement from the agency or a public statement from Lee Yoo-young herself.
Her husband is also known to be someone outside the entertainment industry. The latest birth announcement similarly focused on confirming the delivery and the health of the mother and baby rather than revealing detailed personal information about the family.
The point most likely to cause confusion in search results is treating the 'September 11 announcement' and a 'September 11 birth' as the same thing. Although the agency's statement was communicated on 11, it specified only that the birth had taken place 'this month.'
Three Key Facts Confirmed as of September 12
The information definitively confirmed in the latest news is straightforward.
First, Lee Yoo-young gave birth to her second child in September 2026.
Second, her second child is also a daughter, making Lee Yoo-young the mother of two girls.
Third, at the time of the agency's confirmation, both mother and baby were healthy, and Lee Yoo-young was resting with her family.
By contrast, information such as the exact date of birth, the second child's name, and birth weight remains outside the scope of what has been publicly disclosed. Unless Lee Yoo-young or her agency directly releases additional details, these are the limits of the facts currently confirmed.
